banco credito inversiones

Iapos;m not so sure that the requisite amount of time has passed, but I think itapos;s time for an update (Updating the rarely used blog is an excellent means of avoidance...)

Tomorrow Iapos;m off to Italy for a month of research? writing? Iapos;m off to Italy to accomplish something. Weapos;ll see what it is when I get back :) Mostly itapos;s for more research. The amount of time is a bit much I have to admit. I could probably have gotten by with less (much less), but it seemed like a good idea when I booked the tickets. And besides, Iapos;ve never been in Italy in the fall before. So this trip rounds out my 4 seasons experience (summer too many times, spring twice, winter once...).

After Italy Iapos;m meeting up with Ned in Athens (no, heapos;s not jaunting while Iapos;m in Italy--heapos;s stuck in Los Angeles until November), then Iapos;m finally going to Paris Even if Athens and Paris are only short trips, Iapos;m super excited for both

In other news... My sister is having a baby any day now Iapos;m sad that Iapos;ll miss it, but looking forward to the pictures. Iapos;m increasingly covetous of other peoplesapos; children.

Another something that Iapos;m sad to miss is watching election results on Nov. 4. I wonapos;t bore any of you with my political rantings, but suffice it to say I could find myself living in a country I donapos;t believe in (aka Canada) should the angry mob get too out of control.

And thatapos;s mostly it. The dissertation is what it is. Iapos;m contemplating applying for jobs (Iapos;ll file in May and graduate in June eeeeeek) and a few post docs, but Iapos;m running out of time, so I suppose Iapos;ll need to make some decisions over the next week. Who knows, maybe Iapos;ll take up daily blogging while Iapos;m in Italy?
...right ;)

This past month has been rough, really rough. Just complicated situations in every aspect of my life, but I feel like everything is coming around. And believe me I am not trying to sound cocky but I donapos;t think things would change if I hadnapos;t made an intense effort.

Classes - Pretty much failing STA 225, but after studying I got an A on the last quiz :) Hopefully things are going to keep going this way...and as for my other classes, GEO- so easy,so so so easy, COM- RIDICULOUSLY EASY, ALS- a little tough, but I think Iapos;m getting it, grammar is my thing haha. I really enjoy good grammar but donapos;t check mine now that Iapos;ve said that haha

Work - Adjusting to my new title as Lead Student Assistant has been really tough...I donapos;t like telling people when theyapos;ve done something wrong. Actually, I HATE IT Itapos;s to be peopleapos;s friends and their teacher...but obviously this is good experience. I guess work can be stressful also simply because I am responsible for so many things...desk supplies being full, any database mistakes, late fees, the laptop reservation list, etc. Etc. Believe me I AM NOT TRYING TO COMPLAIN I love my job seriously, a lot. Itapos;s one of the best things that has happened to me in the past year. I think Iapos;m finally start to adjust, especially with the help with great co-workers/friends.

Relationship - Obviously I am not going to get into any issues I have been having with Ken. Honestly, any argument we have had, the thought or talk of breaking up has never occurred. I just feel like Ken and I are so right for each other...a fight is just a way of getting stronger together, learning from one another. BELIEVE me, I know that just because I love him and I want to be with him, doesnapos;t mean that it is going to happen. But for now, Iapos;m just taking one day at time. I truly believe after hearing from my friend that "Distance makes your relationship stronger", it is true. This has been the longest that Ken and I have spent apart. But when we do see each other, it will be worth the wait <3

choking under pressure

Sometimes its hard to be happy. It makes me feel like thereapos;s something wrong with me. I canapos;t seem to accept anything. And it just might be the death of me. I donapos;t really know. Why canapos;t i just let myself be happy? the answer seems so simple.. Because every time i let myself feel happy it just gets taken away from me. Have i trained myself into a robot? can i just no longer even get close to the happiness? i miss going out. Getting ready. Always planning. Always having friends. I am happy with him. I just expect too much. I want too much. I want to pass time by quickly. So i can start my real life. It sucks because i should be working on my future right now.. I should be focusing on school and trying as hard as i can.. But i canapos;t seem to get motivated. I always take the easy way out. I feel like a failure. I feel alone, i feel scared, i feel like every thing can and will come crashing down, and it scares me more than anything. But what if he doesnapos;t really feel like putting up with damaged goods? i donapos;t think anyone wants to put the time and effort i require. I try and hope to make it easy. But when it comes down to it, i donapos;t know if anyone can help. And i think if he leaves iapos;ll have to be checked into a mental hospital because he seems to be the only one who cares even a little. Iapos;m lost.

dell annual report 2005

Hello,

I would appreciate your help with a bromination reaction. I am trying to brominate 2-aminobenzothiazole; I am expecting ortho-para substitution, with the para position on the benzene ring being the major product.

I dissolve the SM in chloroform, and then at zero degrees, I add 1 equivalent of Bromine. The colour disappears after some time and I know that all of the bromine has reacted. My problem is the next step in the reaction, because SM still appears on the tlc. On my last attempt, I added one more equivalent and after leaving the reaction 12 hours, a yellow precipitate had formed which I filtered off. This yellow solid is barely soluble in chloroform, unlike the SM and shows 2 spots on the tlc. One having the same rf as the SM, the other higher up.

Can anyone give me some pointers as to what Iapos;m doing wrong? Itapos;s supposed to be a simple bromination reaction

Thanks in advance :)
